Welcome to the ASUW Middle Eastern Student Commission!
ASUW MESC is committed to serving, celebrating, and advocating for Middle Eastern Students at UW, as well as creating a safe space for students who need physical or emotional support both on and off campus.
MESC this year is here to build stronger connections with ASUW commissions, RSOs, and off-campus Middle Eastern organizations to create more opportunities for students. I also want to focus on professional development by organizing networking events, career mixers, and other opportunities that help students connect with professionals. Another goal is to improve the Arab Heritage Festival by building on last year’s experience and making the event more successful. Overall, I want MESC to continue growing as a welcoming space where Middle Eastern students feel connected, represented, and supported.
